Shraddha Bhatia is an alumnus of NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development, with a clinical doctorate in physical therapy. Her expertise are in orthopedics with a secondary focus in neurological and women’s health rehabilitation. Her decision to collaborate with DFA NYU as a professional mentor is to exemplify her belief that physical therapy perceived from the eye of an engineer or designer can have a larger influence on society at a more molecular level.
Shraddha is currently practicing in a sub-acute geriatric rehabilitation facility that treats conditions like Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, cerebrovascular accidents, brain and spinal cord injuries to name a few. She also treats athletes and dancers with acute musculoskeletal injuries at an outpatient facility in New York City during her spare time.
Shraddha is associated with the Medline Project and the Mobility devices for the elderly.
